The Peach...a huge water tower that sits right on the interstate.
Now, my poor little hometown is infamous for a serial killer that is terrorizing the whole town! Have you seen the headlines? It's been on local, state, and national news. I saw a five minute clip this morning on the Today show. He's murdered five people in a week, and no one knows who he is. They seem to not have any leads either. Please pray that this man gets caught!

We were visiting Travis' parents this weekend- just outside of Gaffney. It was constantly on the news. Every time I saw/heard something I said a little prayer for you and your family. I have an uncle who works for CBS in Charlotte and he was sent down there to report on it this weekend. He said that it was eerie and he is asking for all of his friends and family to pray too. You are not alone. I want this guy caught too- we both have family in the area and that makes it more scary and more personal. Hopefully, he will be caught and Gaffney can just go back to being that place with the water tower that looks like a peach (or rear end- HA!)

Joy - They caught him today, well.. they shot him in a police shoot out in NC. The man had a 25 page rap sheet - it's ridiculous that he was not still in jail anyway! Gaffney is once again safe. David's mom was pretty freaked out on Saturday when she had to go shopping for David's grandma. Glad the ordeal is over!
